Our raw data feature
One of the essential server-side tracking benefits is the ability to collect and store raw data. This fundamentally important competitive advantage is increasingly requested and adopted among our clients.
If you pursue more advanced business intelligence and data science practices – correct and complete datasets about your online business are key to your success. JENTIS delivers companies the best data quality as part of its service, it can provide you with exactly what you need for your individual raw data needs.
In this feature review, we want to give end-users easy-to-understand information about our raw data tool and how you could apply it for your business.
What is JENTIS raw data?
Under raw data we summarize all data streams of all documents that you collect client-side and which are then received server-side in your individual JENTIS container. As soon as raw data is collected you can decide to export it.
Possible documents and properties are:
Where you can expect to have all variables available in the raw data that are in your JTM account.
Your JTM account will contain all variables available in the raw data.
In our system, you can select this raw data connection just like any other tool – for example Google Analytics 4 or Facebook CAPI. Therefore, it has its own tags and variables that you can configure for the export. (You can export any variable and any value that exists in your JENTIS Tag Manager).
In the default version, the generated raw data will be made available for export on a daily basis. It will be stored on the same cloud storage where your JENTIS container is running. You will get access to this storage via sFTP credentials.
Important: The data storage time is 7 days but is not intended to be a long-term storage of data. We advise companies to use more efficient solutions for that.
Raw data use examples:
At this point you might ask yourselves how our clients can use this feature for their purposes?
Some clients simply forward their raw data to a data warehouse to have it available there for future use. They do advanced analytics there and can access their data any time they want.
An advanced use case example is the assessment of any user’s conversion probability and revenue potential from their website behavior. For this purpose, two machine learning models were trained, which are used for effective, personalized (automated) communication with potential new customers and support the sales team.
Another client attributes the customer’s different likelihoods of a potential return of a product. In this project, based on the shopping behaviour and conversions of customers, a machine learning model was built to predict the client’s probability of a return at the “add-to-basket” event. This knowledge was used to devise alternative check-out processes with higher delivery costs, different payment options and minimum spend requirements.
How can you get access to this feature?
At this point, the raw data tool is available for all enterprise customers through special access rights. However, if you’d like to have access as part of your license do not hesitate to reach out.
