CMP Integration



How to connect your existing CMP with your Data Capture Platform

Do you have a Consent Management Platform (CMP) in place on your website? Perfect, you can connect your CMP with the JENTIS Data Capture Platform in just a few clicks. 


Step 1: Select your CMP

First, navigate to the menu item “Legal Manager” and then to “Consent Bars”. Here, you will see all CMP integrations currently available out of the box. If you see your CMP here, click the “Edit” button to start the installation.


Step 2: Select the container

On this page, you can select your preferred container from the drop-down menu. A container is an organisational unit that separates your tracking configuration for different domains. Learn how to create a container in this previous tutorial.
 

We generally offer our CMP integrations with the default settings provided by the CMP vendors. If you wish to continue with the default settings, you do not need to perform additional configuration steps now.
 

If you are using a custom consent bar, you may need to add additional configuration to your setup. Please ask your CMP provider what options they can provide for your needs.

Step 3: Save

When you are finished configuring, please click the “Save” button in the bottom right corner to save your settings.
