How to connect your tools to your Data Capture Platform

The JENTIS Data Capture Platform supports over 100 marketing and analytics tools that you can connect to your tracking setup at the touch of a button.

Step 1: Select a tool

Under the menu item “Tools”, you will find an overview of all currently supported marketing and analytics tools on the Data Capture Platform.

In the overview at the top, you will find the five most frequently used tools for quick access. If you don’t find the tool you are looking for straight away, either enter the name in the search bar or scroll down the overview until you find it. For this example, we choose the tool Google Analytics 4.

Step 2: Select the container

Next, select the container you want to use for this configuration. Please select your container from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Tool configuration

Choose a distinct name for your tool, just as you did for the container configuration.
In this test scenario, we will name the tool “GA4”.

Next, you need to enter an ID value provided by your tool to establish the connection between the tool and the Data Capture Platform.
In the case of GA4, it is necessary to add a Measurement ID.

Step 4: Summary

Now that you have completed all the necessary steps to set up your tool, take a moment to review the entries you have made.

If you want to make an edit, you can jump back to previous steps . Jump directly to a section of the wizard by clicking on the function “Edit step”.

Step 5: Create tool

After you have ensured everything is configured correctly, click “Create Tool”.

Congratulations, you have connected a tool to the Data Capture Platform!
