Vienna/ Munich, January 26th, 2023. The Austrian web tracking and data compliance specialist JENTIS is expanding into Germany. With Munich as the company’s second seat alongside Vienna, the tech scaleup, which recently won an award from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), now has a local presence in the German market just two years after entering the market. Klaus Müller and Thomas Tauchner, co-CEOs of JENTIS, were able to recruit a renowned industry head from the local market to head up the German subsidiary: Jürgen Weichert, digital specialist and marketing expert with many years of management experience, has been responsible for the development and expansion of the German business and the new location on the Isar River as Managing Director of JENTIS Germany since November. Weichert, who comes from the management platform provider Usercentrics, will also assume the position of Chief Revenue Officer in the top management of JENTIS.
With its server-side tracking technology to optimize first-party data quality and to ensure data privacy compliance party data quality when using non-European marketing solutions, JENTIS occupies one of the central growth areas in the data and digital business. The tech pioneer’s customers include Data Guard, Erste Bank, Giesswein, Heise Verlag, Humanic, Österreich Werbung, Pixum, Santander Consumer Bank and Switzerland Tourism. JENTIS has ambitious growth plans for the German market.
In addition to establishing a local sales, consulting and service team, which is to comprise ten specialists by the middle of 2023, and building up the customer base, the focus of the German agenda is also on the rollout and scaling of the JENTIS partner program.

With Jürgen Weichert (51), JENTIS has gained an outstanding marketing and business development expert with extensive strategic and operational management experience to head up its German subsidiary. Originally from Mannheim, he can look back on an international career of more than 20 years in the digital and tech industry, also as a founder and entrepreneur. His professional career includes management positions in sales at asknet and as Managing Director of deal united. At Google, first as Head of DACH & Nordics and then as Head of Strategic Partner Development EMEA, he made a significant contribution to the successful growth of the technology company in new business areas and markets. Prior to joining JENTIS, Weichert served as Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director for Usercentrics, where he was responsible for sales, strategic partnerships and the development of new markets both nationally and internationally.
The focus of Weichert’s activities as Managing Director of Jentis Germany and CRO of Jentis will focus on shaping the go-to market strategy and the further internationalization of the Software as-a-Service (SaaS) business in Europe and beyond. He will also be responsible for representing and engaging Jentis’ representation and engagement in industry associations such as the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW).
