She has been working as a data protection lawyer (Ass. jur.) at the Independent State Center for Data Protection (ULD) since 2004 and is responsible for the European civil register information RISER in terms of data protection law as part of an international project consortium. She currently works in the supervisory area and is a member of the German working groups of the European Data Protection Committee. Bock has repeatedly advised the German Bundestag.
