Current case law on the interpretation of the General Data Protection Regulation in the context of international data transfers makes the implementation of third-party tools from countries such as the United States a major challenge. Server-side tracking is one of the most effective ways to use these tools without compromising compliance.
When implemented correctly, server-side tracking enables companies to regain control over their data. In our 30-minute breakout session at the Data Protection Conference, we shared practical guidance on implementing server-side tracking, improving data quality, and meeting regulatory requirements.
